Dundo – The team of Sagrada Esperança held a parade on Saturday in some streets of Dundo city, in Lunda Norte province, to celebrate the national Football championship title.
The fans who followed and supported the team from a distance through screens in some places, in the end walked through the streets with posters with images of players and coach of Sagrada, Roque Sapiri, escorted by the National Police, in a clear demonstration of affection for the team.
Among other messages, words like “Força Sagrada”, “It’s all ours”, “We are champions” were visible on their shirts.
Sagrada Esperança beat Petro de Luanda, 1-0, at Luanda’s 11 de Novembro Stadium, in the capital of the country, with a goal scored by Luís Taty, in the 30th and last round of Girabola2021, ending the season with 70 points, three more than the their closest opponents.
