Angola and Algeria strengthen tourism cooperation

Luanda – Angola and Algeria analyzed cooperation relations in the tourism sector during a meeting between Angolan Tourism Minister A�ngela Braganca and Algerian ambassador to the country, Larbi Latrach.

At the meeting, the Minister of Tourism and the Algerian diplomat addressed issues about the preparation of a draft bilateral agreement between the Ministries of Angola and Algeria to boost tourism in both countries.

In Angola, the Tourism sector has experienced great growth and is one of the most promising in terms of evolution prospects, to which much will contribute to the implementation of the recently approved Tourism Master Plan.

The master plan intends to define the professional profile of the Tourism sector, promote professional certification and enhance tourist routes, as well as to segment the tourist markets at internal, regional and international levels and categorize Angolan tourism products.

According to a press release from the Ministry of Tourism, which arrived in Angop today, the level of bilateral relations and the mechanisms for strengthening it were also analyzed.
