Angola: Angola in final after crushing Namibia

Luanda – The Under-17 national football team Friday qualified for the Cosafa Cup final in Mauritius, after beating Namibian by 7-0 in the semi-finals.

With the achievement of the first objective that was to do better in relation to their last presence, in 2007 in Namibia, where they did not go beyond the group stage, Angolans now hope to conquer this VII edition.

In the final, Angola will face South Africa, who eliminated Mauritius by 2-0.

Before, in group stage (C), the “Palanquinhas” were undefeated.

In the first round they defeated Malawi, by 1-0, then won Swaziland, current Kingdom of Swatini by (4-0).

In the last game, the Palanquinhas triumphed over Zimbabwe, by 2-1.

The national team qualifies for the CAN of the category, to be held in Tanzania in 2019.

Zambia is the title holder.
