Angola at Macau Fair

Luanda – Angola will participate, through the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIA), in the 14th edition of the International Fair of Products and Services of the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (CPLP) in Macao and Guangzhou, People’s Republic of China, from 17-19 October

CCIA will take part in the exhibition at the invitation by Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM), according to a source from the Angolan Chamber.

The event aims to consolidate the trade agreements between China and the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries, held every year in October in the Macao Special Administrative Region (MSAR).

Angola is a subscriber to all existing agreements between both countries, and in October 2016 the country attended the 5th China-CPLP Conference, with a delegation integrated by several businessmen.

A Confederation of the Association of Chambers and the China-CPLP Board of Finance Association have been created at the said conference.

Macau is a former Portuguese territory whose transition to China took place in December 1999.
