The issue of strengthening bilateral cooperation between the Republics of Angola and Togo topped an audience between the Togolese President, Faure Gnassingbe, and the Angolan ambassador to that country, Eustace Januario Quibato.

The meeting also discussed issues related to the reinforcement of friendship between the two countries and peoples.

Angola and Togo took in 2005, a first step towards further cooperation.

Since then, both countries have been seeking to revive the exchange of parliamentary delegations and expand cooperation in various fields, such as diplomatic, economic and parliamentary domains.
