Angola gets educational TV channel

Luanda A television channel called Canal Educacional Angolano, structured to bring strictly educational content, will be launched later this month via TV Cabo.

The channel is the result of a partnership between the Rede de Mediatecas de Angola (Rema) and the Art Production and Productions Company BW2, to face the deficit in teaching and learning, as well as the rescue of values.

There will be a total of 58 programs, in stages, such as Tele-Lessons (chemistry, biology, English), Spelling (Portuguese Language Skills Contest), Quid Barra (Mathematics Skills Contest from 1 to 16 years old).

Subjects of the school curriculum, with qualified teachers from all subsystems from primary to higher education, in addition to other educational attractions, will be included in this channel.

Speaking to Angop, regarding the project, the director general of the Angola Digital Library Network, Bengui SaA�ca, clarified that the institution’s mission is to provide inclusive resources.
