Angola: Integration of Investments Hinders Economic Waste
Luanda – Avoiding squandering and increase investment productivity is at the heart of compatibility Angola seeks between public and private investment, said Thursday the minister of Planning and Territorial Development, Job Graca.
The minister was speaking to the press on the sidelines of the seminar on integration of investments.
In the search for greater integration between public and private investment, the Planning Ministry, responsible for the Integrated Information Registration System between such investments, brought together on Thursday the entities from both sectors.
The incumbent minister said that the location of infrastructure in areas prone to private investment reduces investors’ costs.
As example, Job Graca referred to a certain company located in a region of the country whose feasibility study determines that it will increase the production of goods, create jobs and contribute to the increase in export revenue.
According to him, in above case the location of private investment will induce to public investment, making joint effort and maximise the profit of the private investment.
