Angola lose, take last position of group D

Luanda – The Under-17 national women’s basketball team finished on the bottom of group D in the World Championship held in Minsk, Belarus, after losing to Latvia Tuesday by 47-68.

The team Coached by Elisa Pires lost to Australia by 43-81 and Canada by 36-66 in a tournament in which they participated for the first time in their history.

Angola � 3 points

In spite of the last place, the national team, along with all others, have qualified to the eight finals.
