ANGOLA: LUANDA GOVERNOR ASKS COMMITMENT TO FINAL ROUND OF COMBAT YELLOW FEVER

The governor of Luanda province Higino Carneiro Friday asked the society for commitment to ensure all population is vaccinated against yellow fever.

Higino Carneiro was speaking in Kilamba Kiaxi district, Luanda, the venue of opening ceremony of the last round of vaccination campaign against yellow fever.

The governor ask the public services attached to health sector, armed forces and all to contribute with their effort so that in the shortest time the vaccination cover 400,000 people and reach the last goal.

He urged Luanda residents, especially those in Kilamba Kiaxi, to encourage the citizens who have not been vaccinated to show up at vaccination sites.

The provincial government’s is to reach 100 percent of all population.

The vaccination campaign in Luanda province is going from 15 – 19 July.
