Angola/Mozambique cooperation in field of arts highlighted

Luanda – The Secretary of State for Culture Maria da Piedade de Jesus Friday praised the cooperation between Angola and Mozambique, based on the exchange of experience in wide ranges of areas of the art.

The official was speaking to Angop as part of the Angolan presence at the 10th National Culture Festival of Mozambique.

Maria da Piedade de Jesus said that the two countries share historical and brotherhood ties that go beyond the borders of culture.

She said that this cooperation contributes significantly to the promotion and preservation of the cultural identity of the two peoples.

The official also said that participation of the Angolan delegation at the event in Mozambique serves to exchange experiences that contribute to the arrangement of the National Festival of Culture (Fenacult), held every four year.

The Angolan delegation attended a round table on culture as a factor of social cohesion.

The round table also addressed the culture as a tourist space, professionalisation of music, fashion as a business and culture in the context of development.
