Angola: SME Records Over 9.000 Migratory Movements On Border With Namibia
Ondjiva – The Migration and Foreigners Service (SME) recorded during the last seven days, 9.470 migratory movements on the border posts of Santa-Clara, Ruacana and Calonga, located between the southern Cunene province and the Republic of Namibia.
According to a note from the institution, this movement includes the entrance and exit of 6.023 are nationals and 3.447 foreigners, including Namibian, Portuguese, Zimbabwean, German, Swiss and Cuban people.
The migration control unit also refused the exit of a national for the lack of authorization of the Military Recruitment District (DRM).
