Angola to host 41st bi-annual CISNA meeting

Luanda – The republic of Angola is to host on 10 to 12 October the 41st Bi-annual Meeting of the Committee of Insurance, Securities and Non-banking Financial Authorities (CISNA), ANGOP has learnt.

Angola is to be represented at the meeting by officials from the Capital Market Commission (CMC) and the Insurance Regulatory and Supervision Agency (ARSEG).

The gathering is to analyse tasks relating to the organisation’s permanent secretariat, the role of regulatory authorities, as well as review the legal tools that were approved at the Seychelles meeting.

The gathering is also to analyse the extent of execution of the tasks assigned to the various work committees and sub-committees, in the ambit of the 2016/2020 Strategic Plan.

The Luanda meeting is to be attended by representatives from Botswana, DR Congo, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritania, Mozambique, Namibia, The Seychelles, South Africa, eSwatini, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

The Committee of Insurance, Securities and Non-banking Financial Authorities (CISNA) was created in 1998.
