Angola veterinary medical association holds Congress

Luanda – The Angolan Veterinary Medical Association will hold the IV Congress of Veterinary Medicine on 17 – 21 this month under the theme “The importance of the veterinary doctor in the economy and public health.”

Veterinarians and other professionals from various animal sciences, as well as companies linked to the field, are invited to participate in the event.

The participants will present their work (communications, posters and videos) in the thematic area of their vocation.

According to a note from the Association reached ANGOP on Thursday, the event will discuss topics such as animal health and epidemiology, veterinary clinic of large and small animals, veterinary public health and food safety, animal production (including aquaculture).

Angola’s Veterinary Medical Association is a public association independent of the State organs.

Maria Antonieta Baptista is the current chairperson of the Association, based in Luanda.
