Angola/Congo-Kinshasa: Angola Lost to DRC Due to Poor Attitude – Dias Caires
Luanda – The former international Dias Caires said on Tuesday night that the poor attitude recorded in the performance of athletes as the cause that dictated the0-2 defeat of the Angolan national senior men’s football team, in the fourth round match of group B, qualifying for the final stage of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON2017), to take place in Gabon.
Speaking to Angop at the end of the match held at Luanda’s 11 de Novembro, the former defender said that the national team that showed good performance in the first leg match did play as a true host.
He stressed that the team at certain times of the match also showed little commitment to collective mission and individual movements, which led to several losses of balls and this enabled the opponent to gain confidence in the game.
