Angolan president leaves for Portugal

Luanda – Angolan head of State JoAPound o Lourenco left Luanda Wednesday at 10:30 AM bound for Lisbon, Portugal, for a three-day State visit, at the invitation of the local counterpart, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa.

Angolan Statesman received farewell greetings from the Vice President Bornito de Sousa.

The President was also seen off by Chief Justice of Constitutional Court Manuel AragAPound o, vice governor of Luanda JA�lio Bessa, and some Government officials.

Accompanied by the First Lady, Ana Dias Lourenco, the Statesman is leading a ministerial delegation including members of his Office.

In Portugal, the visit will cover the cities of Lisbon and Oporto.

The visiting agenda for Lisbon city includes meeting with his Portuguese counterpart, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa. He will also address a plenary session of Assembly of Republic.

In Oporto city, JoAPound o Lourenco is expected to take part in a Portugal-Angola economic seminar to gather businessmen from both countries.
