BNA holds 2nd edition of Financial Literacy Workshop

Luanda The Central Bank of Angola (BNA) promotes, in the province of Huila (Parque 4 de Abril, Lubango city), from Thursday October 31 to November 7, the 2nd edition of the Financial Literacy Workshop with the theme Building Financial Awareness.

The activity aims at marking 31 October, World Savings Day, with the objective to raise awareness of the importance of saving for the construction of a solid and financially secure future.

The Building Financial Awareness Financial Literacy Workshop is aimed at children and young people who have free access to space, as well as their accompanying families, from 9:30 to 17:00.

Play and educational activities will be held to provide children and young people with the opportunity to pursue various professions and / or the role of small entrepreneurs, working, earning, saving and receiving financial management advice.

The Financial Education Workshop is a program whose primary purpose is to teach children and young people the importance of saving and spending money wisely. This is taught through fun and didactic activities.

The 1st edition of the Workshop was held in the province of Benguela.

The initiative will be extended to other provinces of the country.
