British embassy offers master’s scholarships

Luanda – The British Embassy in Angola has 10 places available for scholarships in the areas of law good governance economics health information technology and engineering in master’s degrees in British universities for the current academic year.

The scholarship called Chevening is intended to give people opportunities for progressing.

Chevening is an international program from the UK government that provides scholarships for master’s degrees in different countries.

The official spoke this Friday at the conference on recycling to sustain – Waste management recycling and development opportunities promoted by Eureciclo an environmental entity.

Since 1986 106 Angolan students have benefited from this scholarship. Regarding the conference it served to address issues related to recycling management in Angola as well as consequences and benefits for the environment and for alternative income for the most disadvantaged classes.

The Eureciclo project aims to build awareness of recycling urban waste the associated economic benefits and the creation of cooperatives of garbage collectors to streamline the recycling circuit.
