Luanda – The provincial commander of National Police in northern Cabinda province Commissioner Eusébio da Costa died Friday, victim of illness.
Also delegate of the Ministry of the Interior in Cabinda died aboard a TAAG – Angolan Airlines plane from Portugal.
According to a source from the Ministry of the Interior, who confirmed the fact to ANGOP, the deceased had traveled to this European for medical treatment.
Born in coastal Benguela province, Domingos de Almeida e Costa joined the defunct Popular Armed Forces for the Liberation of Angola (FAPLA) in 1974.
He attended military training in the 1st Political-Military Region, at the Mussenga Military Instruction Center, in the infantry specialty, and also attended the course of political monitor.
