CAN2019: Angola lose to Mauritania (0-1)

Luanda – The Angolan senior males National Football Team last Tuesday in Nouakchott, Mauritania, lost to the local national squad 1-0, a game counting for the fourth round of Group I, qualifier for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (CAN), to be hosted by Cameroon.

The sole goal of the game was scored by Adama Ba.

With this defeat, the Sable Antelopes (Angolan squad) are in the third position with six points, while Mauritania lead the group with nine points.

Angola’s next game will be with Burkina Faso, on 18 November, at the 11 de Novembro Stadium, in Luanda.

In the last round, Angola will face Botswana on 22 March, 2019.
