Construction ministry announces kits for maintenance service

Huambo Angolan minister of Construction and Public Works Manuel Tavares de Almeida announced last Thursday that his institution acquired this year 35 full kits for road maintenance and conservation, as well as open the secondary and tertiary roads.

The Euro 90 million equipment will also help combat ravines, under execution of the Integrated Municipal Intervention Programme (PIIM).

They include bulldozers, motor graders, excavators, cylinders, brush cutters, loaders, compactors, among others.

Speaking to the press on the sidelines of the 7 Edition of the Forum of Municipalities and Cities of Angola (FMCA), held in central province of Huambo, Manuel de Almeida said 15 kits have already been distributed for some provinces, with the exception for Huambo, Benguela and Luanda.
