Covid-19: Angola with 526 people in quarantine

Luanda – The number of people in quarantine and suspicions of the new coronavirus (Covid-19) in Angola increased from 466 to 526 in the last 24 hours as a result of denunciation made by citizens through the telephone terminal 111, said Thursday in Luanda the State Secretary of Public Health, Franco Mufinda.

In a press conference for the daily update on the Covid-19 in Angola, the official stated that the Public Security Integrated Center (CISP) received more than 30 phone calls that denounced the citizens who recently returned from coronavirus-hit countries who should be in home quarantine, but did not comply.

According to the State Secretary all of those people were sent to the institutional quarantine.
