Cycling: Angola on Rwanda Tour

Luanda – Cyclist Bruno Cesar AraA�jo obtained the twenty-seventh position of the first stage of the Tour of Rwuanda Kigali-Kimirongo being the best classification among the athletes of the national team.

The race which started on Sunday took place over a distance of 114.4 kilometers and was won by Yevgeniy Federov from the Vino-Astana team in Kazakhstan.

This Monday the second stage will take place over a distance of 120.5 kilometers (Kigali – Huye).

Angola is represented in this Tour of Rwanda with a team of five cyclists namely Carlos Oyarzu Bruno AraA�jo Gabriel Cole Dario Antonio and Helio Lemos (all from Petro de Luanda) under the command of Sports Director Carlos AraA�jo.

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Angola in Rwanda Eduardo Filomeno Octavio accompanied by diplomats and members of the Angolan community residing in Kigali paid homage to the cyclists while watching the race.
