Elections2022: Second Summary of the 24th day of campaign

Luanda – The majority of the political parties turned their electoral campaigns to the northern region of the country, with PRS and PHA in Cabinda, P-NJANGO in Malanje and UNITA in Cuanza Norte.

On this 24th day of campaign, the political forces also gave great emphasis to the training of their delegates, accredited by the provincial electoral commissions for the effective supervision of the voting process.

UNITA

After working in the east side of the country, UNITA´s leader Adalberto Costa Júnior held a mass act in the city of Ndalatando, capital of Cuanza Norte Province, where the politician highlighted the creation of jobs, the improvement of living conditions of citizens, academic and professional training of youth, rehabilitation of roads and the development of the economy.

PHA

In Cabinda Pprovince, this political party leader Florbela Malaquias, inaugurated its headquarters and presented some of the key points of its governance programme, focusing on a greater support to families, particularly women.

P-NJANGO

The leader of the Nationalist Party for Justice in Angola (P-NJANGO), Eduardo Chingunji, while having a mass rally in Malanje Province, promised to transform it into a tourist destination of reference at a worldwide level.

APN

During the party´s ten minutes of airtime on Angola National Radio station (RNA), the Vice President of the National Patriotic Alliance (APN), Ana Patrícia da Gama, said on Tuesday that her party would give more dignity to women in case of victory in the general elections on the 24 August.

The politician justified that they will create public initiatives so that women have social welfare, the same job opportunities and wages as men.

FNLA

The National Front for the Liberation of Angola (FNLA) marked the day with several actions of direct sensitization of citizens throughout the country, in addition to the training of party delegates.

CASA-CE

On Tuesday, the only coalition highlighted strategies to fight juvenile delinquency, with actions linked to the restructuring of families, so that they can be the catalyst for change in society, as its priority.

These ideas were highlighted during the hunt for votes, which had its main focus in the country´s capital, where the political force centred its actions.

PRS

The party dedicated its actions towards the door-to-door mobilization campaign in the city of Cabinda, where it presented to local voters its strategies for governing the country, in case of winning the elections.

MPLA

The leader of the MPLA and candidate for President of the Republic, João Lourenço, foresees, for the next five years, an Angola more developed than today and with a more diversified economy.

João Lourenço was answering the question “if you win the elections, what will the next five years be like for you?”, during the party´s ten minutes of airtime on RNA´s station, on Tuesday, as part of the campaign for the general elections on the general elections.
