Tunis: The fees for the use of the Zarzis economic zone and the Bizerte economic zone were the focus of a small cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Ahmed Hachani at the Government Palace in the Kasbah on Tuesday.
In his opening remarks, Hachani stressed the need to encourage investment by providing appropriate infrastructure and economic spaces to encourage economic actors to participate in the economic dynamic.
Minister of Industry, Mines and Energy, Fatma Thabet Chiboub, gave a presentation on the spaces in question and their specificities, as well as the financial aspect related to the fees for using these spaces for business activities.
After discussion and deliberation, the Cabinet decided to draw up an inventory of all the existing fees and to update the fee tables for the two fees for the use of the Zarzis and Bizerte economic zones for the benefit of the Tunisian State, with the financial settlement of other fees, if necessary.
