FILDA/2018: Tourism to contribute to Angola’s economy diversification

Luanda – The hotels and tourism sector is participating in the 34th edition of Luanda?s International Fair (FILDA/2018), in the prospect of playing an important role in the country?s economy diversification process, said the Tourism minister, A�ngela Braganca.

Speaking to the press, the minister underlined that the tourism sector has potential to actively contribute to Angola’s economy diversification process.

The official called for a price balance between hotel units since some of them are one, two or three stars but charge almost as much as four stars units.

The current fair edition is taking place at Luanda/Bengo Special Economic Zone (ZEELB), counts on the participation of 372 exhibitors from 15 countries, which marks an increase of 125 displayers in relation to 2017.

Several companies from the host country Angola and South Africa, Spain, US, Ghana, Netherland, India, Italy, Macau, Portugal, Russia, Sweden, Turkey, Uruguay, Japan and Mozambique are displaying their products in the fair.
