Benguela – Petro de Luanda beat 2-1 Sporting de Benguela in the 8th round of the national first division football championship, and thus remain at the top of the championship with 22 points.
Petro de Luanda entered as favourites and dominated the game at the home of the opponent that scored the goal first through a penalty in minute 28, but could hold the lead and ended up conceding a 2-1 home defeat.
Petro lead the championship with 22 points, while Sporting are in the12th position with six points.
