GOVERNOR INSPECTS PIIM WORKS IN VIANA MUNICIPALITY

Luanda – The governor of Luanda province, Ana Paula de Carvalho, carried out this Saturday, in Viana, a visit to assess the works that are part of the Integrated Plan for Intervention in Municipalities (PIIM).

The governor began her visit by noting the state of degradation of the road linking the town of Viana/Cemitério/Zango/Calumbo, the future premises of the Agrarian Institute, as well as the Mizangala Project (Zango 5).

Speaking to the press at the end of the field day, Ana Paula de Carvalho said that some of the visited works present a low degree of execution, but she praised the school institutions that are doing everything to conclude the works in execution in August, due to the beginning of classes that should start in September.

Meanwhile, the director of the Kapalanga municipal hospital, Mateus Neto, thanked the governor for delivering an ambulance to the institution, stressing that this will help in the transfer of patients to other health units.

The municipality of Viana comprises the urban districts of Zango, Vila Flor, Baia, Kikuxi, Vila Sede, Estalagem and Calumbo commune.
