Importance of Angola brand highlighted

Cabinda – The promotion of Angolan cultural goods promotes the Angola brand, with strong emphasis on merchandising, to take the quality of national products to the foreign public, said in Cabinda on Monday the minister of Culture of Cabo -Verde, Abraham Vicente.

According to the minister, who was speaking in the Sixth Consultative Council of the Ministry of Culture (Mincult), the definition of marketing strategies for product presentation, from design to

packaging, through sales channels, advertising, among others, is an essential component for the dissemination of the Angola brand.

She also pointed to the promotion of handicraft fairs, exhibitions, creation of adequate spaces for the sale of manufactured products, edition of informative brochures and magazines that promote the diffusion of handicraft activities, as well as the implementation of prizes for the advertising industry as mechanisms to promote the brand Angola.

According to the official, it is necessary to make the transition from the traditional economy, with strong heritage value and cultural identity, to a modern and sustainable economy, based on the promotion of all forms of creativity.

The roundtable was attended by the minister of Tourism, A�ngela Braganca, the Secretaries of State for the Environment, Joaquim Manuel, Mass Media, Celso Malavoloneke.
