Israeli diplomat wants to strengthen cultural exchange

Luanda – The Israeli ambassador to Angola, Oren Rozenblat, on Thursday defended the strengthening of cultural exchange between the two states, with the aim of boosting the dissemination of cultural potential.

The diplomat, who was speaking at the opening of the second festival of Israeli cinema in Angola, which will take place in the Angolan capital between October 26 and November 1, as a rule, the peoples communicate with each other through the formal diplomatic channel, but the way of exchange is the cultural route aimed to share the cultural aspects between the two countries.

“Cultural exchange plays a very important role in relations between states because it allows us to spread the cultural potential of the two countries,” said the diplomat.

The diplomat said that his success is based on the fact that the Israelis have many interesting facts to portray, such as Angola, which is why mechanisms must be created to strengthen cultural exchange.

For the second Israeli film festival in Angola will be the films “Zero motivation” and “Wedding doll”.

The film “Zero Motivation”, which will open the event, is a comedy. The film retracts the daily lives of a female Israeli young soldier unit, located on a remote base in the desert. Their stories and personalities are presented with humor and wit and lasts for 60 minutes.
