Jiu-Jitsu: Angolan leads world ranking

Luanda – With 840 points, the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu version athlete Victor Hugo dos Santos leads the ranking of the International Federation of the sport, 2018/2019 season, at a time when Angola is preparing to participate in the World Championship, from April 24 to 26, in Abu Dhabi.

The athlete of the Academy “Z1”, category “light purple belt” in the 76 kg, obtained this result of the score obtained during a tour for the participation in international competitions aiming to score for the world cup.

The Tunisian Ahmed Laaribi, 780 points, is the second placed, while Englishman Akeem Khan, 720 points, is in third place.

The list Ranking of 1261 athletes also includes Angolans Omar de Sousa, Academy “Z1” (17th with 560 points), Alfredo Jacques, of the same Academy (32� / 400 p) and Mario Antonio, of the Academy Matilha (57� / 200 P).

On the bottom of the classification is the Brazilian William Sales with 5 points.
