2962 births were carried out under the assistance of midwives deployed by UNFPA in 18 health zones covered by the project.

3690 women joined the new modern methods of contraception in the health zones of 6 targeted provinces through community relays and mobile clinics

Since the deployment of the corps of midwives in the health zones of Kiambi (Tanganyika) and Kamonia (KasaA�) by UNFPA, no maternal deaths have been recorded from May to September 2019.

461 cases of sexually transmitted infections treated according to the syndromic approach and 561 individual clean delivery kits distributed to visibly pregnant women and girls among the Angolan returnees and communities thanks to the humanitarian midwives at work in Tshikapa, in the province of Kasai.

100 cases of obstetric fistula repaired in the province of KasaA� with the expertise of surgeons at St Joseph Hospital in Kinshasa

73 women in acute vulnerability, 12 of them with disabilities from the Angola refoule, received assistance from UNFPA consisting of dignity kits.

4 Kasai safe spaces in Kanzala, Tshikapa, Kamako, Nsumbula, Kasai province, enabled 1095 women, including 225 adolescent girls, to discuss early marriage, family planning and the various forms of violence based on violence. Gender suffered by women and girls in their communities.
