Moroccan doctors operate in Angola

Luanda – A group of Moroccan doctors have been providing services since Sunday at the Luanda General Hospital as part of the cooperation between the two countries.

Organized by the Saham Foundation in collaboration with the Moroccan Embassy in Luanda the team which will remain in the country until March 7 includes 24 volunteer doctors and paramedics including visceral surgeons ENT surgeons ophthalmic surgeons gynecological surgeons pediatric surgeons urological surgeon.

According to a note from the Moroccan embassy to Angola more than 200 patients were treated within 24 hours.

It indicates that more than 95 operations of all combined specialties are planned for this Monday.

This caravan is part of efforts to strengthen ties between Moroccans in Angolans.
