MPLA official calls for preservation of democracy

Lumbala Nguimbo – The first secretary of MPLA in Moxico province, Gonçalves Muandumba, reiterated this Saturday in Lumbala0 – Nguimbo village, Bundas municipality, for the need of preservation of peace and democracy values in the country.

Speaking during a mass act that took place in this region, the politician reiterated that MPLA militants should be in the front line for the guarantee of national union and people’s safety.

Gonçalves Muandumba said that MPLA is a party with solidarity and committed to the implementation of good governance and transparency in the management of the country’s public affairs.

With a view to solving the population’s problems, he highlighted the projects being implemented under the Integrated Plan for Intervention in Municipalities (PIIM) which have been transforming the region, mainly in the areas of health and education.

The great challenges for the region, according to the politician, consist of the soon conclusion of the construction work of the National Road (EN180), in a route of about 120 kilometres that has been hampering the circulation of people on the Luena/Lumbala Nguimbo route.
