Namibians interested in investing in Bie

Cuito – Entrepreneurs from Namibia are interested in investing in the province of Bie, mainly in the agro-industrial sector, in order to contribute to the diversification of the economy, creating more jobs for youth.

At the meeting with the governor of the province, Pereira Alfredo, held Wednesday in Cuito, Consul General of Namibia in Angola for the provinces of Moxico, Cuando Cubango, Huambo and Bie, Mauritz Lucky Gawanabno, said that Namibian entrepreneurs intend to invest in agriculture, industry and other fields.

The presence of entrepreneurs from Namibia will serve to exchange experience with the local business class and above all to identify the possible areas of investment, based on the potentialities and strategies of the provincial government.

In his turn, the governor of Bie, Pereira Alfredo ensured that the provincial government is open for foreign and national investment in various sectors of economic activity.
