National handball team in Lisbon for friendly

Luanda – The Angolan senior women´s handball team started, in Portugal, a preparatory stage aimed at defending its title at the African Championship in Dakar, Senegal, scheduled for November.

In Portugal, since this morning, the trip is part of the second training cycle at the International Handball Federation (IHF) week, at the Rio Mar Internship Center.

During this training camp the Angolan team has on its agenda two games with Brazil on 20 and 22 April and a third game against Benfica Handball Club on the 23 April, respectively.

With the arrival of two Angolan international players, scheduled for the end of the day, Magda Cazanga from Stinta de Bucharest and Ruth João from Paris, the Angolan team will be completed.

The group led by Coach Vivaldo Eduardo is filled by Marta Alberto and Teresa Almeida (Goalkeepers), Janeth Santos, Dolores do Rosário, Juliana Machado, Natália Fonseca (Left and Right Winger), Ruth João and Albertina Cassoma (Pivot), Chelsia Gabriel, Magda Cazanga, Marilia Quizelete, Tcheza Pemba, Wuta Dombaxi (Left and Right Backcourt) and Vilma Nenganga, Helena Paulo, Isabel Guialo(Center Backcourt)
