Paulo Kussy displays “Idiossincrasias”

Luanda – Twenty works of paintings and twenty others of drawing, gathered in an exhibition entitled ” Idiossincrasias”, by Angolan plastic artist Paulo Kussy, will be on display from September 5 to October 3 this year at the CamAes Institute in Luanda.

A press release from the CamAes Institute, made available today to Angop, indicates that the sample includes mostly unpublished works that represent the assumption of the I of the artist, without subterfuge, without strings attached and without compromises.

In his works, the document adds, Paulo Kussy reveals the essence of his being, the way of looking at the world and himself in expectation and that by looking inside he can rescue emotions that may eventually resonate with the public who enjoys Fine Arts in Angola and in the World .

The artist, who remains focused on the human figure, maintaining the guiding line of his almost twenty years of art, made the large-format paintings using acrylic and charcoal and graffiti drawings on paper.

Born in Luanda, Paulo Kussy has a degree in Fine Arts and a master’s degree in Artistic Anatomy.
