Portugal: Portuguese president’s visit to Angola uplifts Angolan citizens

Lisboa – Angolan citizens dwelling in Portugal expect that the visit the president of this European nation, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa is paying to Angola aid to consolidate bilateral relations and sort out the main problems faced by the two communities.

One of the main expectations of the Angolan community is to see the resident permit acquisition problem sorted out, a concern they have already conveyed to the Angolan president during his visit to Portugal in 2018.

According to the Angolan community, the Portuguese authorities continue to demand a considerable amount of documents, which makes impossible the legalization of Angolans in that country, so they expect that the two presidents discuss this issue to seek appropriate solutions.
