President congratulates television station on 43rd anniversary

Luanda – Angolan head of State JoAPound o Lourenco Thursday congratulated the employees of the Angola’s Public Television (TPA) on the 43rd anniversary of that state-run company, on 18 October.

In his message, JoAPound o Lourenco urged the TPA management and staff to continue the path of providing a strict, quality and professional service.

The President wished the TPA Board and the staff happy anniversary and future achievement and success in the tough mission of serving with professionalism, on daily basis, the Angolan families and all those who benefit from their transmissions.

To the President, October 18 is a day of transcendent symbolism that sums up the determination of the Angolans to make a new country on the eve of the proclamation of National Independence in 1975.

“I am honored to extol the commitment, dedication and countless proofs of fidelity and dedication demonstrated by the successive generations of professionals who have dared to lead the victorious course of one of the country’s leading institutions in the specific field of public Media, “he concluded.
