President João Lourenço sends message to Serbia’s counterpart

Luanda – A message from Angolan president João Lourenço was delivered in Belgrade to Ivica Davic, Deputy Prime Minister for Foreign Policy and Security of Serbia.

The letter, addressed to the Serbian Head of State, Aleksandar Vucic, was delivered by the Angolan Minister of State and Head of the Military Affairs Office to the President, Francisco Furtado.

In a press release, the Angolan Embassy in Serbia said that as part of the visit, the Angolan leader met with the Serbian Defence Minister, Milos Vucevic.

During the meeting, the two entities discussed the development of bilateral cooperation relations at the Defence level.

Francisco Furtado also met with representatives of Serbian companies operating in Angola, including Yumco, Vlatacom, Jomil, Planum and Yogoimport.

In Serbia, the Minister of State also met, among other personalities, with the Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Vladimir Popovic.

The Angolan Minister of State ends his working visit to Serbia on Saturday.

The trip is part of the strengthening of bilateral and military cooperation between the two countries.
