President Lourenço sends message to King of Morocco

Luanda – A message from the President of the Republic, João Lourenço, to the King of Morocco, Mohammed VI, was delivered Friday (6), in the Moroccan capital, by the Angolan Itinerant Ambassador, Dombele Bernardo.

The message was delivered to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans living abroad, Nasser Bourita, by the Angolan diplomat as special envoy.

On the occasion, the Minister of Foreign Affairs confirmed the participation of King Mohamed VI in the Malabo Summit (Equatorial Guinea), scheduled for 28 May.

He also expressed his interest in contributing to the Summit with the results of the Marrakech Ministerial meeting, scheduled for 11 May, in which European and African countries are expected to participate.

Following the initiative of holding the Extraordinary Summit of the African Union (AU) on Terrorism, at the beginning of the month, the diplomat also delivered a message from President Lourenço to his Nigerien counterpart, Mohamed Bazoum, in Niamey.
