President Nguesso accredits ambassador of Angola

Luanda – The Angolan ambassador to the Republic of Congo, Vicente Muanda, presented in Brazzaville the credentials to President Denis Sassou Nguesso five months after he was appointed to the post.

The accreditation ceremony was held at the People’s Palace in a joint ceremony where, in addition to the Angolan ambassador, President Denis Sassou Nguesso received credentials from the diplomatic representatives of Egypt and the European Union.

The new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Angola in Congo has as mission to boost relations between the two states, reads a note issued by the Embassy of Angola ton the Republic of Congo to which Angop had access Tuesday.

Vicente Muanda conveyed to the Congolese President the Angolan Statesman’s interest in deepening the historical and friendship ties existing in various areas, as well as leveraging economic cooperation.
