Roller hockey: Fernando Falle to coach national team until world championship

Luanda – Angola’s national hockey coach Fernando Falle will remain in charge of the Angolan team until the world championships in Spain.

The decision came as a result of a meeting between the coach and the governing body of the federation last Friday, where it was agreed that all technical team will remain in the national team until the World Cup, from July 6 to 14.

In the month of April, Fernando Falle, Antonio Victor (assistant coach), Mauro Almeida (goalkeeper coach) and Antonio Ferraz (physical trainer) submitted a resignation request, alleging lack of financial conditions.

The national team travels next Wednesday to Portugal, where in the region of Santa Maria da Feira will fulfill a pre-competitive stage.

In the World Cup, Angola are in Group A, with Italy, Spain and France.
