Tocoist church celebrates 44 years of its late leader arrival in Angola

Luanda – The bishop of the church Our Lord Jesus in the World, Dom Afonso Nunes, underlined on Sunday the importance of the August 31st for the members of this religious congregation.

The bishop spoke to the press during the 44-year celebration ceremony of the return to Angola of the late founding leader of this religious institution SimAPound o Toco, after 11 years of deportation in Portugal.

“There were 11 long and hard sacrificed years, away from his land and family; in order to end the work they felt was a threat. For this reason, the church pays tribute to its founding leader because during these 11 years he hasd gone through many episodes,” said the religious leader.
