TPA urged to excel at quality information

Luanda – The employees with state-run Television Station (TPA) have been told to provide quality, plural, exempt and responsible information in compliance with the ethical and deontological principles of the profession and ensure the exercise of participatory democracy by citizens.

This is expressed in a message released Thursday by Ministry of Social Communication (MCS), signed by its incumbent, JoAPound o Melo, ahead of the 43rd anniversary of TPA, on October 18.

Congratulating the company’s board and the staff, MCS wished success in the accomplishment of the task entrusted to them.

It encourages the officials and workers to perform their activities with a spirit of humility, responsibility, patriotism and professionalism, always improving the service they provide to the society and dignifying national television station.

The commemoration of date follows a visit the first President of Angola, Antonio Agostinho Neto, paid to the state-owned media house, on 18 October, 1975.
