UAE Sheikh impressed by Angola’s health facilities

Luanda – United Arab Emirates’Sheikh Juma Dalmook Al Maktoum was thrilled Wednesday with the high quality standards of hospital units under construction in the Angola’s eastern Moxico and south-east Cuando Cubango provinces.

Sheikh Juma Dalmook Al Maktoum expressed his admiration at the end of the meeting with Angolan Health minister, Silvia Lutucuta, with whom he discussed issues related to a possible public-private partnership in this sector.

Sheik told the reporters that the intention was to improve the existing health facilities for the people’s wellbeing.

He also pledged to bring in experts to work on the management of the hospitals built by the government.

In turn, Silvia Lutucuta praised the cooperation, stressing that the move opens the opportunity for better hospital management, as well as enable Angola to take advantage of the UAE experience in human capital which is currently an international reference.
