Luanda – The Vice President of the Republic, Bornito de Sousa, travels this Thursday to the central Huambo Province, for a working visit to the municipalities of Mungo and Chicala-Choloanga.
According to a note from the Office of Institutional Communication and Press of the Vice-Presidency, which ANGOP had access to this Wednesday, the visit aims to assess “in loco” the social and economic reality of Mungo and Chicala-Choloanga, thus such as the execution of policies to combat asymmetries and the implementation of locally developed projects.
The 72-hour agenda of the Vice President of the Republic to Mungo and Chicala-Choloanga also includes meetings with local authorities and community representatives, as well as visits to socio-economic enterprises in the two municipalities.
As part of his agenda for monitoring local governance actions, the Vice President of the Republic has visited the municipalities of Curoca (Cunene), Baía Farta and Lobito (Benguela), Quiçama (Luanda), Caála (Huambo), Ambriz, Dande and Nambuangongo (Bengo), Quibala (Cuanza Sul) and Cacongo (Cabinda).
