Vice-president of Republic on his return to Luanda

Benguela – Angola’s vice-president, Bornito de Sousa, has already left Benguela province for Luanda, after a 48-hour working visit to this district.

During his stay, Bornito de Sousa visited the Morro da Catumbela, where last week’s rains caused 12 deaths and dozens of injuries, as well as displacing several families.

The vice president expressed his solidarity with the victims and promised the support of the authorities in order to see their losses minimized.

In the municipality of Baia-Farta, the Vice-President of the Republic learned about the operation of some fisheries and concrete projects for the construction of new salt flats. He also visited the power substation and urban centrality of that district.
