World Tourism Forum to invest USD 1 billion in Angola

Luanda – One billion US dollars is the amount that the World Tourism Forum will invest in Angola, to contribute to the development of the sector in the country, announced today, in Luanda, the president of the Forum, Bulut Bagci.

In a statement to the press, on the fringes of the “Breakfast Meeting”, alluding to the “Presidential Golf Day – Angola 2019”, an event that precedes the holding of the World Tourism Forum that Angola will host from 23 to 25 May, Bulut Bagci underlined that during the forum will be announced the specific form and the priority areas for investment.

Bulut Bagci said that the development of the sector must necessarily comply with the National Tourism Development Plan.

He cited as an example, that Turkey “his country of origin” in 1980 there were no hotels as it currently has, which earns annually 40 billion dollars.

Bulut Bagci was received in February in audience by the Angolan Head of State, JoAPound o Lourenco.
