ZEE becomes African Economic Zones Association member

Luanda – The Special Economic Zone (ZEE) Luanda-Bengo became last February the permanent member of the African Association of Economic Zones and Free Zones (AFZO) in the framework of the Government’s strategy to improve the business environment in the country.

The initiative also aims to attract foreign investment, to contribute to increase national non-oil production, according to a press release from the ZEE, which arrived in Angop today.

As an active member, the Luanda-Bengo Special Economic Zone has the opportunity to situate Angola among the countries active in Africa, to promote its image and position it in the options of the main international investors that seek the African market to settle.

Headquartered in Morocco, the African Association of Economic Zones and Free Zones (AFZO) is committed to achieving strategic objectives, attracting foreign direct investment and contributing to the socio-economic development of member countries.
