ADPA Launches Online Platform to Shape Diamond Sector Policies

Luanda: A new online platform was launched last weekend by the African Diamond Producers Association (ADPA) to connect, inform, and inspire stakeholders on the continent and beyond. The launch marks an important milestone in ADPA’s mission to facilitate collaboration, promote sustainable development, shape sector policies that address Africa’s pressing challenges, and open up growth opportunities, according to a statement from the association.

According to Angola Press News Agency, the platform offers an engaging and accessible user experience that will serve as the main hub for news and updates on ADPA’s programs, initiatives, and impact. It will also share policy information and research publications to keep stakeholders informed and connected.

ADPA is an intergovernmental organization dedicated to promoting diamond mining, trade, and sustainable development throughout Africa. Composed of 22 member countries, fifteen of which are full members and seven observers, including major diamond-producing nations, ADPA advocates collaboration and cooperation among its members and works to promote beneficiation and value addition, transparency, and fair market access for African diamonds.
